 Canon 20D Digital Camera and a 
Canon 70mm - 200mm Telephoto Zoom Lens
 with a Canon 1.4 Extender

The shutter speed was set at
 1/2500th of a second
to capture the birds in flight.

 

 

Pigeon Photos

I have been extremely fortunate at selling my pigeon photos. The photos are sold as digital downloads on Internet stock photography web sites. The use of my copyrighted photos are dependant upon the type of royalty-free license that is purchased.  

My pigeon photos have been used in TV commercials, on greeting cards, book covers, fashion ads, web sites, annual reports, and funerary literature. Licensing does not allow the photos to be used in trademarks or logos.

Literally, hundreds and hundreds of photos are taken to come up with one good photo of a flying pigeon.  

As of March 4, 2010 I have sold
 21,976 pigeon photos
 around the world.
